He started his advertising career at BBDO Moscow, crafting award-winning campaigns for Pepsico & P&G brands.

In 2011, at the age of 30, Denis left to co-found SLAVA, an independent creative agency. Since then, the company has grown from 5 to 70+ people and taken on such brands as Google, Lego, Renault, Avito, Lamoda, Ferrero Rocher, and many more. In 2018, according to the Effie effectiveness index, SLAVA became the most effective independent agency in Russia. In 2019, it reached #8 among the most effective independent agencies worldwide.

Denis has served on the jury for the Young Director Awards, G8, Art Directors club Russia, Jolbors, Wow Awards and 3 years in a row for Effie Russia. He has given talks, lectures & curated work at the Wordshop Academy, MADS, British Higher School of Arts & Design and the Moscow Cinema school to name a few. 

He has also won awards at Cannes Lions, Eurobest, Golden Drum, Effie & Red Apple among others.
