Задача

Problem:
The inefficient use of water resources in Uzbekistan over the years, including a sharp decline in the level of the Aral Sea, has resulted in a shortage of fresh water.
Surprisingly, 90% of fresh water consumption comes from agriculture.
Despite the availability of modern irrigation technologies that can significantly reduce water consumption by 30-80% and increase crop yields by 20-40%, many farmers and water managers still prefer to use outdated methods. This preference often stems from a lack of knowledge and skills in working with more advanced systems, even among those who have installed drip irrigation systems.

Solution:
To support the efforts of the Uzbek government in addressing water-related issues, JSCB "Agrobank" has launched a program at its own expense. The program aims to provide training to farmers and workers in the water sector on modern irrigation technologies.

Result:
On May 29, 2023, the "Suvchilar maktabi" project began.
The main goal of the project is to train more than 60,000 farmers and 4,000 water sector workers by deploying 5 teams of specialists to different regions of the country. The implementation of foreign experience involves the participation of 15 specialists from Turkey.
As of August 15, 2023, more than 35,000 participants, including 12,185 farm managers, have successfully completed training courses held in 106 districts.
