Задача

Problem:
The youth of Uzbekistan are demonstrating a growing interest in agriculture, recognizing it as a key sector of the economy and an integral component of the country's development.
However, in the regions, there is a lack of short-term courses that can effectively educate young individuals on farming practices aligned with international standards and provide knowledge on the business and economic aspects of this industry. Moreover, many young people face obstacles in gaining practical experience abroad due to financial and logistical challenges.

Solution:
To support the growing interest of young people in the agricultural industry, the management of Agrobank has decided to establish a "School of Farmers" and has implemented the following measures to provide support:
• In collaboration with JSCB "Agrobank", training centers called "Fermerlar maktabi" have been established in specialized higher educational institutions;
• The School of Farmers offers free education, along with providing educational materials, accommodation, and meals;
• Communities have been organized where graduates of the school can receive professional advice;
• Talented graduates of the "Fermerlar maktabi" are eligible for benefits when applying to the University of UDEA (University of Digital Economy and Agrotechnologies);
• Agrobank offers targeted loans on favorable terms to graduates who aspire to start their own businesses.

Result:
As a result of this initiative, the "Fermerlar maktabi" school was opened in five regions of Uzbekistan: Tashkent, Samarkand, Andijan, Surkhandarya, and the Republic of Karakalpakstan. The school opened its doors on May 31, 2021.
As of August 1, 2023, more than 1,100 young people have successfully graduated from Farmerlar maktabi. These graduates have accomplished projects worth over 37 billion soums and have created 646 new jobs. Additionally, during their study period, students had the opportunity to engage in practical training in Turkey. The School of Farmers community continues to grow and actively develop, organizing regular meetings and seminars with alumni to facilitate the sharing of experiences.
