Problem:
Despite the increasing number of higher educational institutions and applicants each year, there have been no offers in the educational sector for high-quality international educational programs from institutions with a QS rating above 4 stars and those included in the top 1000 world rankings, such as QS, THE, and others, until today.
Solution:
As a solution to the above problem, in 2022, the management of JSCB «Agrobank» decided to create a higher education institution - the University of Digital Economy and Agrotechnologies (UDEA), which would provide training for the most in-demand fields, taking into account the trends of digitization in the fields of economy, finance, and agribusiness.
The goal of the university is to provide high-quality education to the youth of Uzbekistan and create opportunities for internationally recognized scientific research.
Result:
As a result, JSCB Agrobank launched UDEA - the only university in Central Asia, offering international educational programmes in collaboration with Coventry University (UK).
According to the QS World University Rankings, Coventry University (UK) offers international programs for more than 50,000 students in over 30 countries. The university has a 5-star rating from QS Stars University Ratings and is one of the top 20 universities in the UK.
In 2023, JSCB Agrobank provided 200 fully-funded scholarships with stipends for Coventry University (UK) programmes at UDEA. Fully-funded scholarships include full contract fee coverage throughout the entire study period, as well as a monthly stipend payment.
