SITUATION
Kulikov is a Kyrgyz company that has won the hearts of sweet tooth lovers not only across the country but beyond as well. And they’re not just about classic cakes anymore. Now, they’re introducing new flavors and formats that are sure to impress

IDEA
To promote their new product – Trifles, these delicious desserts in a cup, Kulikov introduced an innovative strategy: paying for user-generated content views featuring their dessert.

EXECUTION

We were inspired by a blogger who gained fame through his controversial streams and legal troubles. We encouraged all our users on TikTok to create videos featuring our Trifle dessert. We promised to pay 1,000 soms (around 10 dollars) for every 10,000 views. However, our budget was limited to 200,000 soms (around 2,000 dollars), so only the first participants received payment. Nevertheless, this did not hinder the success of the campaign on TikTok.

RESULTS
With a budget of 2000 dollars, we achieved the following results:
More than 500 videos were created, reaching a total of 25 million views.
Over 40,000 trifles were sold in a month, which is ten times more than any of our other new products.
