Uzchess is an innovative initiative designed to revitalize and promote the game of chess in Uzbekistan, a country with a long-standing chess tradition. Despite its rich history, interest in chess had been waning, with the sport losing its prominence due to several challenges:
Lack of Accessibility: Chess clubs and trainers were scarce, particularly in various regions of the country.
Financial Barriers: Many families found it difficult to afford specialized chess courses, limiting the sport’s reach.
Low Visibility: Compared to other sports, chess received less attention and support.
